Review + Lifestyle - Getting my Frank Card

Woke up & decided to get myself a Frank Card from OCBC.
I know it's kind of late but whatthehell :)

I tried 3 times when I applied for this. For the first try, I applied it through online, which is through their website. I did everything right from A to Z, however, my application for the card did not go through. A few days later, I tried it a second time round, now, carefully filling up the online form with the correct detail. It was successful. I receive an email and a letter from them. From there, they asked if I could upload a picture of my I.C, Telco bills etc. I was so confused. It was troublesome beyond words. I actually asked my sister for help (something I rarely do). She was helpful about it. She said that all of the things that they want, they are all redundant because they just want to know if you're a real person or not. She advised me to go to the Frank Store at Somerset personally and apply for the Frank card there. I did and it literally took me less than 15 minutes to complete the whole thing.

When I arrived at the store, I had to take a number and wait for my turn. While waiting, I took a look at the many designs that they had for the Frank card itself which ranges from S$10 - S$20. There was also some MAC laptops there and so we decided to take some pictures through their photobooth. Soon, it was my turn & I took the design that cost me S$10 NETS called "Psssssst". It is a bright yellow card with a drawing / painting of a person's mouth "Pssst"-ing. That decision of mine took quite a while for me to decide. There was too many beautiful cute artsy popsy design for me to choose; only one perfect one. I spent around 10 minutes to decide on that design.

After everything was settled, the OCBC personnel said that my card would take 7 - 10 days to be delivered to my house. & for that 10 days, I have been counting down the days till when my postage would come. However, after the 9th or 10th waiting day, I've only just received a text from the OCBC bank stating that my application has been approved - & that it would take additional 5-8 working days until I received my FRANK card. Honestly, I was kind of disappointed that it takes forever for my card to be delivered. I was told that it would take 7-10 days before I receive it but no. False hope & frankly (no pun intended) , I hoped that it would have gone more smoothly than it did.
